The images were captured in three shoots in fall of 2023. First I made close photographs of myself using an iPhone as remote control for a mirrorless digital camera in my studio near Newburgh NY. A few days later I took pictures in Ecola Creek Forest Reserve on the North Coast of Oregon where I have walked for more than 50 years. As I photographed the rainforest, I tried to hold the mood I had during the studio shoot. After the Oregon visit, I did another shoot of myself in my studio.
